You sit in an upright posture rather than hunching over the handlebars. This relieves pressure on your wrists. Your legs extend somewhat forward and down, eliminating the need to straddle the seat (as with bicycles). This allows the seat to be large and comfortable - no more saddle sores! The APAX is considered to be a semi-recumbent vehicle; however, you ride at "normal" cycling height. This eliminates the sense of vulnerability many people feel when riding "close-to-the-road" semi-recumbents. The seat position is instantly adjustable via a simple sliding pin (no wrenches needed here).
